Tyler Perry Joins Family Members Visiting Bobbi Kristina Brown as Her Organs Shut Down

Family friend and filmmaker Tyler Perry joined Bobbi Kristina Brown's family on Sunday at the hospice care facility in Duluth, Ga., wherethey have been keeping vigil at her side.

Perry arrived at the facility in a blue Rolls Royce and stayed several hours. Soon after Bobbi Kristina was first hospitalized, ET previously reported, Perry loaned his private plane to Bobby Brown to fly down to Atlanta.
The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was in a medically-induced coma for nearly five months after being discovered unconscious and unresponsive in her bathtub in nearby Roswell on Jan. 31.
Bobbi Waves Goodbye
In February, Oprah Winfrey, who was the first to interview Bobbi Kristina after Houston died, talked about Perry's bond with the family.
Screen Shot 2015-06-28 at 9.16.47 AM"Tyler has been really close to the family," Winfrey said. "Tyler was really supportive of Whitney when she had her troubles -- he intervened and tried to help her -- and I know that he's been instrumental in trying to help Bobbi Kristina, too."
Since being moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice on Wednesday, a steady stream of family have also visited, including both Pat Houston and Bobby Brown's sister, Tina. The two aunts to Bobbi Kristina are not believed to have visited together before. more

 02/18/2016 02:01 am ET It's one of those Facebook posts that's all over the place, and -- like " the dress " or the  hidden panda  -- everyone seems to have a different take on it.  What is half a coconut plus one apple plus three bananas?  On the surface, it would seem the apple has a value of 10, the bananas a value of four and the coconut a value of two. And if that were the end of the story, the answer would be 2 + 10 + 4 = 16.  But in the final frame, the fruit are slightly different.  There is half a coconut, instead of two halves in the earlier example equation that establishes a value of two. And instead of the four bananas representing the value of four, there are just three bananas.  If the numbers are reduced along with the portions of fruit, you get a totally different answer: 1 + 10 + 3 = 14.   Which is the correct answer? Police: 22 y-o Devon Staples shoots off firework from top of his head, dies

CALAIS, Maine (AP) — A young man who was drinking and celebrating the Fourth of July tried to launch a firework off the top of his head, fatally injuring himself, authorities said Sunday. Devon Staples and his friends had been drinking and setting off fireworks Saturday night in the backyard of a friend's home in the small eastern Maine city of Calais, said Stephen McCausland, a spokesman for the state Department of Public Safety. Staples, 22, of Calais, placed a fireworks mortar tube on his head and set it off, he said. The firework exploded, killing Staples instantly, McCausland said. His death is the first fireworks fatality in Maine since the state legalized fireworks on Jan. 1, 2012, authorities said. Calais is on the Canadian border near New Brunswick. State fire marshals were also investigating several other Fourth of July fireworks accidents involving injuries in Friendship, Jefferson, Lebanon and Woodstock.
