My wife and daughter (both have type 2 diabetes) measure their blood sugar levels at least three times a day. President Barack Obama's State of the Union address takes place Tuesday evening in front of a joint session of Congress. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 | 4:59 PM   ST CATHERINE, Jamaica - The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) on Tuesday launched a probe into the fatal shooting of a civilian in Job Lane, Spanish Town, here, about 2:30 pm. File Photo The deceased has been identified as Akeem Henry, otherwise called ‘Oshane’, a construction worker and coal miner from the area. According to a news release from INDECOM, police reported that they received information that gunmen were at a house in Job Lane. When they got to the house, it is alleged that a gun battle ensued between the police and a group of men, after which one man was found shot and injured. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. INDECOM said no firearm was seized in the incident. INDECOM also reported that a police officer received minor injuries to one of his hands in the incident.
